Here for 2 days on EU business. Lots of mopeds, pasta, peroni, pizza and piazza. Coffee like tarmac. Chilly. Hope to squeeze in the sights before I return home. Off to see the Pope next, wish you were here...lol Phil

The Easter school holidays came somewhat later than the bank holiday this year. Last weekend we journeyed up north in the great new Mazda Bongo up to stay with Grandma (thanks Mum for looking after us so well - you can rest again now), including a trip to see the Gruffalo, a brief visit by Lily, a meal with Richard and Jill Bardgett (thanks). On Monday, back in Devon, I took the day off with the 3 of them and we spent the day down at Dawlish on the beach - we got some great light for some photos, which can be viewed here. Dad

Matt's musical moments

Matthew is coming into a phase of loving music at the moment, with his piano, wanting to play the guitar, singing in the school choir, watching 'High School Musical' (repeatedly) and listening to Robbie Williams on his MP3 player. The image here captures him doing a concert duet with his piano teacher, Jane, the other day. Nice one Matt! Dad

New wheels

We just bought ourselves this Mazda Bongo 8 seater and we are all jolly excited about picking it up in the next few days! Space at last - and with the added extra of sleeping potential too - I can see us having some fun with this! Dad
