Christmas 2019 Reflection and Photos

As Christmas 2019 draws to an end I thought I would reflect on the busy season caught on photos!  Gran came to stay on the 18th.   On the 21st we had a welcome visit from Adrian and Dee.  On the Sunday we opened our doors to neighbours for christmas drinks and an estimated 80 came through the door.  On Christmas eve it was the 10th Anniversary of the Arkholme Wagtail Ingleborough walk, this time in mirky wet weather.  Campbell joined us for the first time this year, ariving Christmas eve along with Grandma too.   On Christmas day Dave, Kate, Lily and Elsie came too, making it 12 for Christmas lunch - we went to their house for a great party and dance on Boxing day, and even Gran managed a short dance to "Don't Stop Me Know".  The next day Matt did a very respectable run in the Wansfell Race in Ambleside.  Anne and I managed to steel a short walk on Fareleton Knott in between Christmas and New Year, and I followed up with a mountain bike circuit of the same too.  On New Years Eve we met the Bardgett Family for a walk in Kentmere followed by lunch and drinks in the Eagle and Child.  And as I write this we are poised to go next door to our Neighbours the Duxburys to celebrate New Year.

Thanks to everyone - farwell the 20-teens and here come the 20s!  Happy New year 2020 all!
