Christmas card from Phil Anne Matthew Angus Helen - 2008

• Phil started a new job at Lancaster University in June and has been commuting due the credit crunch. We hope to move in 2009. Hard times, soon to end, we hope…..
• Anne is ‘flat out Mum’ and district nurse, working 2 days a week and running the Beavers
• Helen, now 3, turned from toddler to girl, loves ballet and singing
• Angus, 6, plays rugby for Okehampton U7s, utterly loves it and scores tries just for fun
• Matthew, 8 plays rugby and is also is a great pianist and keyboard player. Poor Matt has been ill this Autumn with glandular fever (or the likes?) and hopes to get back to normal in 2009

Helen the Angel

Capping off a busy week of Haygarth stage shows, Helen and her friends from pre school did an interpretation of the nativity and Helen was an Angel (I have been saying it for ages now, but I am biased....). She was a bit miffed that she was not Mary, but nonetheless seemed to sing and dance with enthusiasm and put on a great show. I just love those wings! A few pictures here....

He was very chuffed with the fact that he was the chief role! A great variant on the nativity and moving, as I find all of these moments! A few grainy and dark pictures here....

And here is a short video clip...

Strident with Santa

Our 3 visited Santa in the preschool fete yesterday - this image shows a happy Matthew who thankfully seems to be getting better. He did 5 half days at school last week. Helen was rather more strident with Santa than here brothers in previous years, perhaps helped because of the degree of familiarity she is developing with the bearded chap (she also saw him the previous day at the preschool party). Angus was on top 'grumpy' form cross because he did not win the Helicopter in th raffle. A few pictures here (caught on the new 'old' Fuji camera I just bought on ebay).....

Song and dance.....

A brief video showing Angus yesterday do his Robert Plant thing (with some made up lyrics) whilst Helen accompanied with dance.......
