Train ride to Glasgow to see Gran and Campbell

We have just got back from a train trip to visit Gran, which was a different experience for us and extra fun because
we took Polly (country dog) with us. On the way we spent time in Glasgow City centre. It was an especially poignant time as it is 12 mo since Gran started her illness last year, sk it was a great pleasure  to be able to visit her and stay over again - and experience her roast beef. Thanks Gran and Campbell.

A winter walk on Harter Fell

Today we enjoyed a lovely walk in the Lake District, on Harter Fell near Haweswater. Although the day looked set to be a chilly one, it brightened up and offered some stunning views. We had a fantistic time sliding thorough the icy snow, and hope you enjoy the pictures!

Whitestones Fell Race with Helen

Today I made a modest fell running comeback and joined Helen at the Helm Hill Runners Winter league race near Newby Bridge. Despite the rain it was great fun. Helen did very well and I was quite pleased too. Angus came along for support but couldn't run bacause of a cold. Great day!

Cyclo cross racing for Angus Dave and I

Today saw the end of the Cyclo cross season and ended on a positive with Angus Dave and I all racing. Dave made a promising comeback from his shoulder operation with a 3rd overall, whilst Angus and I put in a spirited performance in the Beacon Park mud. Happy days.
