The Big Beach House
Just back from a great week in Cornwall, at The Towans. Hayle, with the Bell, Chadwick and Bol families. This is I think year number 8 and the second year in the Big Beach House. Usual great stuff, surf, sand, walks, eating, drinking, running, cycling, plus a visit to some old mine workings this year too. Full set of photos here.....

Mountain biking in Sedona, Arizona
Last week I was lucky enough to tag a day of mountain biking on to a work trip to Pheonix in the US. I spend a few terrific hours exploring the desert and the mountins around Oak Creek and Sedona, thanks to Laura Turnbull. Take a look at the scenery....

A night away for Anne and I
Last night Anne and I managed to get away to Elterwater for dinner B+B - a rare treat courtesy of Grandma who babysat for us. Very nice!
Patterdale walking trip
I shared a special 28 hours away walking with my brother Dave and cousin Adrian staying at Patterdale Hall with 8 other good friends as part of a long standing annual tradition. This year we were in the Lakes, convenient for me and the sun shone down on us. Added bonus was catching up with childhood friend Steve Honeyman on ths saturday night - last seen 20 years ago.
