Jane and Iain's Wedding
We have just returned from a great weekend, a lovely farm wedding in Devon of Jane and Iain. For Helen it was a 'first' and she was thrilled, along with us all, at the happiness, the 'tractor' departure from the church, the marquee, the hog roast, the barn dance. Great also to see old friends, among many the Cunninghams. Thanks to Anne for doing all the driving for my disability, and looking after us with two nights in a travel lodge to boot.

Father's Day out

Happy Angus off on School Trip to Liverpool
Lovely moment this morning, Anne and I saw a very happy Angus depart or his school residential trip to Liverpool. Stunning day, happy times.

Hutton Roof Fell Race 2013
Lovely day on Saturday, Angus and Helen did the race whilst the rest of us enjoyed the sunshine. Helen was 2nd in the U8s and Angus 'really enjoyed' more grown up and challenging route of the U12s.

Every cloud...
I broke my ribs and collarbone last week in a mountain bike accident. Getting better now. One of the advantages of the incident is that it forced me to stop, to smell the roses is admire the lovely spring in and around the house and valley. Happy days. Every cloud....
